Burj Khalifa

When I moved to Dubai in February 2006, the Burj Dubai, as it was known until its opening, was ‘only’ 50 stories high. After four years of construction since then, the building is now completed and was opened officially with a spectacular show, on 4 January 2010. Its official name was announced (Burj Khalifa) as well as its height of 828 meters.
